Waking up crying

My 19 month old has been waking up multiple times at night screaming and crying inconsolably. Nothing I do can calm her down most times and sometimes she’ll say “ow” and hold her foot. Which idk if it really hurts because she says ow all the time whether she’s hurt or not. My husband wants me to take her to the doctor. Has anyone else gone through this? What’s going on with her? She use to sleep through the night so good

My 19 month old is doing the same thing. He used to sleep through the night- 12 hours straight actually, but now he wakes up at least once or twice a night screaming inconsolably! And bedtime and nap time cause a complete, full blown tantrum! I literally don’t know what to do🙃😩

Night terrors maybe my son does that. Only thing you can do it let it pass and love on them after.

@Kayci my mom says it sounds like sleep regression. I just feel so sorry for them. Seeing them like that getting all worked up

When my son has sleep regression he doesn't wake up crying. He just wants up amd wants to play.

It could possibly be growing pains that’s how my daughter has been doing at night and she’s always slept through the night

I agree with the comment above me. It could be growing pains or it could be teething. My little one went through it too.

I agree with Brook. my son's 19 months and is teething. here the last few nights he has been falling asleep cuddling his teething toy.
