Cabin strollers on Jet2 plane

Has anyone had any experiences of taking a cabin approved stroller (I’ve got the silver cross clic) on a jet2 plane? Are they okay with it going in the overhead lockers?

Also any advice for taking a toddler on a plane? We’re going in October so my LO will be 22months old and doesn’t have his own seat on the plane, he will be on my lap. TIA

I think they’re very strict with sizes and don’t allow prams in cabin now, we go with them in 2 weeks & this is what they’ve advised. You can keep the prams right up until you step onto the plane though and it’ll be one of the first off on the carousel. Tips for taking toddlers would be snacks, new toys, books & download programmes. We’ve got our little one a sticker book, fidget spinners to stick on the window & those rubber fidget popper things to play will. We will also download her favourite movies & programmes to keep her busy 🤞🏽 will no doubt need to get up and let her toddle around a little bit but hoping to keep that to a minimum or else she will want to do it the whole flight & I’m terrified of flying hah x

We took a joolz aer plus in the overhead locker with jet2 in March with zero issues. No one measured it and it fit in the overhead locker better than most people’s luggage tbh x

We got the lejoux one for our holiday, folds down to cabin size and I believe it weight 10 or 15kg. Jet2 have always let us take it on board and put it in the overhead locker. It comes with a little handle so you can pull it like a suitcase and also a bag x

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
