@Liv Richardson i’m 33 weeks pregnant nobody will hire me, he dropped a week ago so he’ll be here in 2-4 weeks from now..i can’t find another job..
I hate how I'm treated at my job too. But I have big reasons to stay. I've been told too that this can teach me patience. Maybe you can look at it like you have such a short time left and hopefully when you get back in the workforce you'll get a better job. Sorry I don't have a better answer for ya, I feel your pain though.
@Susie im just not making enough to even live off of
I know, that's why I wish I had a better answer. 😩 I'm sorry
I quit mine at 15 weeks & started babysitting to help keep a small flow of income
i live with my grandparents and they adopted a 6 day old who is now 2 years and they are fostering a 6 month old; i don’t wanna be around kids at all, not until mine is here..
@Jacquelyn Ballentine my social life will be gone after this baby anyways and i won’t be around adults except my husband and grandparents so i want to keep adults around for now
Idk my advice would be to work as much as possible till baby come for money babies are expensive I worked until 1 week before my induction date to save up so I didn’t have to go back for a while and then while your on your maternity leave find a new job because it dosnt seem like that job is cutting it anyways
I’m sorry you’re having this experience 🫂 Honestly Sounds like he should sell his truck. Or get another job. You can’t work right now he needs to pick up slack… Can’t afford the truck obv he should sell it and get something more affordable. Can’t imagine gas
Are you both working part time? If he is a delivery guy he should try doing Uber I worked until I was sent to the hospital and admitted for preeclampsia at 34+5
I quit at 5 1/2 months pregnant. I would say as long as you can safely say that you’ll financial be okay missing that much work than go for it. I was working in a restaurant 60 hours a week and my feet and back just couldn’t take it anymore. Granted, me and my boyfriend worked our ass off beforehand to save up. Just do what’s best for your situation and mental health!
Where do you live? Do you not qualify for temporary disability? I was able to take 4 weeks of benefits prior to my due date
Honestly your husband needs to try and find another job or y'all need to downgrade cars and get something that's more affordable. If you're barely making ends meet now I wonder what will happen when you absolutely can't work 🫣. For now I would just try and stick it out the best you can take some time for yourself as well as your mental health maybe cut back your hours a little bit if possible.
If I were you I’d be looking into getting a new job. Your mental health is sooo important for you and little, and if you’re not able to financially support yourselves there maybe it’s time to find somewhere that will appreciate you AND pay your bills
