Honestly I think all you can do is go with it, if they’re having milk they’re staying hydrated and getting some calories in. They’ll come back to solids when they’re feeling better 😊
@Claire i’m glad someone else is distracting with tv to get a decent amount of food in🤣 i was feeling a little guilty for doing it
I’m going through the same and I’m pretty sure it’s to do with her teeth. I’m just offering her the food and it’s up to her if she eats it. She’s still having her milk and a little bit of food so that’s good enough for now x
We've been through this. I offered food but kept it no pressure. And still brought him to the table so he could see us eating delicious food. It took a while due to an extended illness but we're now back on track.
My 11mo is literally going through this right now. Also he had a few days at nursery settling in. We reverted back to 7mo pouches for a smoother consistency and give him snacky crisps (for babies) and try to shovel the food in between mouthfuls. Also distracting him with tv currently to allow us to feed him. Not ideal but seems to be working at the moment
