My little boy who will be 9 months in a couple of days just isn't interested either. He has bits and bobs but still prefers breast milk. My daughter started at 6 months and really took to it so I guess it's just when they're ready.
I was starting to stress about how much/little my boy was eating. Then I saw on a post on Instagram that said something along the lines of "it's my responsibility to offer them food, it's their responsibility to eat it". Which really took a weight off my stress. I can't force him to eat it. To me it's important he learns to enjoy food, however that looks at the minute.
The health visitor told me it’s all just for fun at this stage so not to worry too much about it all xx
I wouldn’t stress yourself out about it- I would take a step back from it which I had to do with my little boy he had antibiotics which we struggled to give him he then refused anything to be put in his mouth so I cut right back, and then tried again a few weeks later when he seemed interested/would let us put teething gel on, if he is fine weight wise I wouldn’t worry, they say the food is mainly tastes/exploring anyway at this age there may be something going on- growth spurt/teething that may be overwhelming him so might not be the right time
