NIPT at RPA
Hi girls - when I had my first baby, I did NIPT via a private clinic and they did a combined blood test and first trimester screening ultrasound all at once. This time, I’m doing it through RPA and it’s booked as two separate appointments. Can anyone tell me whether there’s an ultrasound as part of the NIPT appointment? Just need to work out whether it’s worthwhile having my partner come along or if it’s just going to be a blood test.

Mine was booked at the ultrasound clinic there and the blood test was done in a little room just beside it right before the ultrasound.

I did mine at RPA as well. My NIPT appointment was done at week 10, I planned it together with midwife appointment, it was a simple blood test. Then I had a separate first trisem ultrasound appointment at week 12, which my hubby came along. I think you can try getting all done in the same day as long as there's available timeslot. Oftentime they had to schedule you to come back separate time due to busy schedule of midwife etc.
