Anyone babies just not having it with food?

She seems interested when I’m eating but when I actually give her food she just gags like I’m giving her death. She’ll grab some things when I put it in front of her but she still doesn’t like it. I’m not sure if she’ll be ready in a few weeks or months or if something could be wrong? Has anyone had any kids that hated it and then it changed?

My son gags too and fusses a lot. It helps to make it fun, but go at their pace. Gagging is totally normal! Over time she’ll get used to it. It helped my son to keep him on one new thing for a few days before switching it up. They’re taking in so much new information: how to use a spoon, new flavors, new textures. Just be patient 🫶🏻

I’m having a similar issue with my daughter. She’s inconsistent with food she prefers and doesn’t like many textures. All she likes is yogurt consistently. She just eyes my steak lol

Yes, my baby is super reluctant but will grab food off my plate. I let her gum certain things but I don’t think she has actually ingested very much at this point and we’ve been trying for about 3 weeks

Same same :-( she isn't actually interested in eating but a lot interested in grabbing and tasting things

My kid ends almost every meal time with screaming and crying. It's so exhausting
