Food ideas.

What’s everyone feeding their bubs for lunch and what portion size are you giving? Breakfast and dinner I’m finding easy, but lunches I am a little stuck with. Especially being in the go some days. At the moment we are doing some spoonfed and self feeding meals. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated 😊

On the go meals I will give my son a sushi roll sometimes. It’s helps me when I’m out running around and busy and he loves them .

Or a sandwich cut in quarters is an easy take with you lunch . Maybe with some stewed apples slices on the side or some other fruit .

@Kaley oh I love the sushi roll idea, is he doing ok eating it? We also do sandwiches or wraps cut in small pieces when on the go or picnics. Or AVO on wholemeal toasts. We personally don't do eggs and meat but you could do a loaded omelette and cut in strips ?

I’ve been using Pinterest for food ideas and it’s been sooo helpful! I’ve been batch making little quinoa bites, veggie pancakes, corn fritters… now bub likes rice I’m also doing bulk rice salad or pasta leftovers from dinner the night before. Am currently trying to have bub eat what we eat which saves me HEAPS of time. But Pinterest for the win. Also quick sandwiches and fruit for lunch when I’m busy, but I make a homemade veggie spread so he’s getting that into him.
