I wouldn’t push it, my daughter was like this and she really struggled with a bad tummy for weeks! I would give her the option through the day and offer a nappy for a poop. It helped my daughter so much get back into a regular poo routine. Just say ‘do you need a poo? If so you can have a nappy if you want.’ Then build up to ‘do you wanna poo in a nappy or your potty?’ My daughter has been potty trained for wee’s for around 3/4 months now, she’s even dry in the nights but she still does have a nappy sometimes for a poo! I offer her the choice and random days she choose’s different x
Yeah I wouldn't push it, like Olivia said..because same with my little boy, he didn't poo for ages on the toilet/potty. He still struggles with it now but does do it when he can't hold it anymore bless him, we did have a few accidents at the start and that's normal even though we did ask if he needed it.. this he was just scared . so we popped a nappy in when he was struggling, it's just when they start to feel comfortable, when he did his first poo on the toilet I was excited and telling him well done and yay! So I think that helped so he knew yes this is a good thing!😂 But he goes when he needs to now bless him! She'll get there, all the best for you though! X
