Are you using some sort of sticker reward chart? So many stickers "unlocks" a toy. We use Little Advents Potty Time Adventures. They get a different sticker foe just trying to it encourages them whether or not they actually do it. We found out we just had to go cold turkey with the daytime diapers/pullups and just do underwear. Many accidents but they eventually learn they don't like that feeling. Bathtime is a good trigger too. Our son had a couple of poop accidents in the tub that really upset him so now he's adamant about getting out to sit on the potty if he needs to go.
