Placenta position

usually not early on, I would say only at 20 weeks scan they can properly access it or if you have a private scan between 15-20 weeks ask there.

They can tell you at your 20 week scan.
I asked if she could tell at my 12 week and she said it looked as though it was posterior this time.
Just ask the sonographer at your next one :)

I found out mine was anterior at my 16 week private scan, on the 12 week I still had the yolk sac x

I found out mine was posterior at a scan around 14 weeks, which was then confirmed at my gender scan I had done around 16 weeks. It's hard to tell by the picture as you don't know which was is up when you look at it.. my baby was sat up, bum down, but the scans still show him looking like he is lying down, so it's hard to tell by the pics x

I found out 15 weeks at a private scan I have an anterior but had to wait til 20 weeks with my first (also anterior) x

I asked my radiographer!

Looks posterior to me but I could be wrong x
