I’m so sorry for even asking this TMI question but I don’t know who else to ask🙈 has anyone ever tried one?? I’m on holiday next month, pretty positive I’ll be on my period and I feel like this might be a good option but there’s so many out there I don’t know what one to even get, they all look slightly different🥲

Use a tamper

I was using one for about a year before I fell pregnant.
They take a bit to get used to, but can be handy if you need to keep track of specific blood loss.
I’m inclined to switch over to the nixit cup when it’s time to go back at it doesn’t seem to rely on suction and specific placement.

Personally I love my pixie cup (though it did feel odd the first time). They were the second brand I tried and I got the size wrong at first but they were really helpful. It’s not for everyone but I would recommend giving it a try if you’re curious. They can be trial and error though so tampons might be a good backup plan for your holiday x

I liked June cup before I had a baby, but after I got the size for post baby. It didn't fit quite right. So I got one from cvs. I don't remember the brand, because I only got to use it once before I got pregnant again. I much prefer them to tampons. If it feels uncomfortable, try adjusting it.

I've used the mooncup (obviously not the exact same one) for 10 years.
Highly recommend them - just make sure you get the size that fits post-birth. I'm not sure about all brands, but mooncup has 2 sizes - one for if you're younger and have never had a vaginal birth, and one for if you're over a certain age and/or have had a vaginal birth x

I absolutely love mine!
But are you also aware that you can go to the GP and get medication to delay your period? That could also be an option for you 😊

I absolutely loved mine prepregnancy. I had a Lunette cup and plan on getting another for when my cycles start back up again - my pregnancy conveniently matched up with around the time I needed to replace.
Thanks everyone!!
