Aww sorry to hear this. I’m sure you could call the appointment line and ask to speak to the consultant’s secretary for a referral or maybe wait til your next appointment and ask again.
My first scan was awful picture quality too in Ballymena, and had a bit of a poor experience with the midwife doing my booking she wqs very abrupt and just hammered on to me about breast feeding (which is said 8 didnt want to do) Definitely request a different midwife or put a complaint in, 12 week scan is such a nerve wrecking appointment you definitely shouldnt be made to feel like that🤍 If it helps i never had a poor appointment following my 12 week one, being consultant led saw to that, i hope it is the same for you🤍
Some midwife’s are lovely and some are just there to do a job. I had my baby Jan 2022 and had full on row with the midwife over Covid jabs. I outright refused all throughout my pregnancy as there is no long term evidence and she kept arguing I was putting my baby at risk and couldn’t believe my attitude. I argued for her to show me the actual medical evidence to prove it which she obviously couldn’t so I won that argument. She was the only midwife I had issues with
Just because there a midwife doesn't mean they are a good person.... alot of them are...but we've good n bad everywhere I'd report her if u weren't happy
You could write on care opinions website if you wanted it to be followed up. Sorry you went through that
