Thoughts?

Okay ladies, I am really struggling with a situation that recently happened and I was wondering if anyone has any advice. I was verbally attacked by boss for a mire misunderstanding. My boss freaked out on me because of how I simply said okay to another employing while working the floor. This was my 7th day on the job. My boss painted the horrible picture of me and calling me names while getting in my face. How can a socially awkward woman bounce back from that? I was told to let it go but now I am just ran thru the dirt. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks in advance!

Go to cooperate. Bc hell no sir.. u not about to get in my face.

You can be social awkward. But you should absolutely stand up for yourself!! Ur human & this is just a job.

I would go over your boss on his head or to HR directly and let them know your direct superior is creating a hostile work environment just being verbally abusive and jumping in your face and now your uncomfortable and see what HR can do for you. If you don’t stand up for yourself now unfortunately he’ll always do this to you in future for minor mishaps or misunderstandings. Good luck

this was the owner but I appreciate you ladies. Thank you!

I'd look for another job. Studies show that when you work for an arsehole all it does is wreck your health in the end. And health is the most important thing in life.

Everyone has a boss. Go to theirs. That behavior is not appropriate

Nvm I didn’t read the comments first

Another incidence where a boss is letting his work get to his head trying to act superior and be the top, thinking they can treat employees like crappie. My partners boss is also a nob

If you reacted appropriately, go above them. If they retaliate take it to HR and make it public.
