Need suggestions from USA mums

My partner id travelling to the states for quick business trip so just wondering if there is anything super cheap or really useful that mums would recommend picking up over there. We live in UK with our 3 month old

Not sure if there is something similar in the UK but people love shopping at Costco/Sams here. Good deal on diapers and other things depending on location. They are bulk stores. However membership required so you would need someone with a membership to go with you

Honestly it’s not as cheap to the £ as it used to be. We go a few times a year and aside from cool food, there’s not much right now worth bringing back that isn’t as cheap at home. Baby items in America are more expensive (formula and nappies in particular) too be honest, I take my own stuff when we go. You can however get lots more cool toys for kids, for example Sesame Street is still big over there and there’s lots of things in Walmart/Target for kids. Toys like Little People Fischer Price have more selections there. Nice shops to look at that don’t sell here: OshKosh b’gosh and Pottery Barn Kids

I remember being slightly horrified at the price of nappies and formula in the states. It makes the UK look dirt cheap in comparison. Clothes there’s not much difference or slightly more. There’s more choice though. I always liked to by Archie comics as a kid although that’s no use to a 3 month old!

I’m an American living in the UK, and I honestly wouldn’t waste my £ on American stuff. It’s wildly overpriced in comparison to here in the UK sadly ☹️ my parents send stuff over and the price they’ve paid (before sending) is just astronomical. The toys may be the only thing to risk the splurge on because there’s way more choice but that’s about it tbh.
