Coparent apps

I use appclose, its brilliant, they can still send a lot of messages but what i tend to do is only acknowledge the ones that are about little one, hope this helps! X

You can also block calls on there as well x

I also use AppClose and have blocked phone/videocalls. It’s much better than Whatsapp as messages cannot be deleted. The only downside is you can’t search as an easier way to find previous messages. So if you wanted to screenshot something as evidence, you would have to do it at the time.

Thank you so much girls. I’m scared about the anxiety of him having an open line of communication. Do you mute notifications so you can choose when to read them? Also what can they do on there can he constantly ask to swap days etc 😂 x

He can pretty much ask whatever he wants, the notifications come through when a message is sent but you dont have to read it straight away, you can block phone calls and video calls so he can only message, you can put appointments etc in the calendar so theres no need for communication about that, my only advice would be to only message what is relevant with the child and do your best to ignore anything thats not relevant or about the child x

Anything sent on the app is also usable in court if ever required x

It makes me anxious the thought of the notification 😂 but he keeps requesting things on handovers so I need something x

Hey girl I know the feeling 😂 I found that I could still use WhatsApp etc and normal msgs and if it’s literally just the notification popping up that’s the problem or that he can see that you’ve read it you can go onto WhatsApp settings and turn off “read receipts” and also on his specific profile “mute account” so his msgs will still come through but you can choose when you want to see them x think it works the exact same in iOS settings too x
