I would. Did you tell them you had a chemical. Do you know for sure it was a chemical? They can probably run more tests to make sure.

@Gabrielle I did not tell them yet because it happened so fast and it was my first appointment so I didn’t get a chance to even meet the doctor!

I would honestly call and ask. I only say this because there really is nothing that they can do for a chemical pregnancy (I had one May 2023) except refer you to therapy if that’s what you’re wanting to do or if you want somebody to talk to about it. That being said, you could always call a therapist office yourself to make an appointment. I would just really hate for you to have to pay so much for a doctors appointment and feel like they didn’t do anything for you…

Yeah I would call and ask because they could make sure it was a chemical or make sure you weren’t still pregnant with like a pee test and what not

@Brooklyn okay thank you I just didn’t know if I should go and tell them I had a chemical and see if they was to tell me why or if there was something serious that caused it

@Deja I think unfortunately a lot of providers won’t do genetic testing until you’ve had multiple losses. I was offered the testing after my 3rd and everything came back normal, so I still don’t have answers sadly… it’s always worth an ask though! I’m so sorry for your loss 🖤
