Screening tests

Got a call to say I have increased risk of Edwards and Pataus after my initial blood tests. I have a 98.7% chance of having a ‘normal’ baby and scan looked healthy, but can’t help feeling so worried!! Back for another blood test this morning. Anyone else experienced something similar?

I had this and also a chance of Down’s syndrome. I just had a more in depth blood test that was sent to St George’s and all was fine. I was so worried too but I’m sure everything will be fine for you x

I had this for Down’s syndrome - it came back as high risk. I had another blood test (called a NIPT) and it came back fine. Try not to worry, even though it’s hard! The odds are very much in your favour xx
