9 months old, it is also resulting to broken sleep for her being unable to self-soothe 😞
The majority of babies don't self soothe. I know it's tough, I went through it with my older son, he woke every hour it felt like. I did what I could to survive I.e co sleeping, lying down to feed, getting to bed earlier. In the end it's not the feeding to sleep that is causing them to wake, it's just your baby hasn't linked sleep cycles. I say this because my current baby is also fed to sleep and fed back to sleep and he wakes 2 times maybe. It's just different for different babies. You haven't done anything wrong or failed at anything by meeting your child's needs for comfort and security. Sleep will improve with time x
Very normal... my girl constantly relied on boob. My boy less so. Now between the 8-10mth mark he's stuck to boob and going through lots developmentally that his sleep cycles are more broken and needs me a lot more to help him back to sleep. It's absolutely exhausting but it gets better. The 8-10mth mark is worst for sleep and ur in the thick of it. They definitely don't rely on it forever. My girl was able to be shushed by dad before 1 But I could only ever boob her until 18mths old and she disassociated after a week holiday where dad was available to do nap and bed time. After that she refused boob for sleeping to my surprise!
It is normal for them to feed to sleep. They grow out of it. How old is baby?
