Manufacturing error?

I opened up two clear blue red dye test because it was saying negative in the test window and had a dark line in the control window but when opened there’s two good lines, could they have messed up on how they put the test together in this box or?

It could be dye run test tomorrow with different tests

Took the same test and opened mine up, too. I found the same faint line like yours on mine. So I was wondering the same thing.
