Just a little rant and interested to hear what others have to say. I’m sure we’ve all dabbled on Vinted to earn an extra pound or two while on maternity leave😅 I try and buy all my little girls clothes send hand where possible so I know what I’m getting myself into, but oh my gosh, some of the things I’ve received lately have absolutely STANK!!
I take so much time making sure the items I sell are clean and fresh before posting and can’t understand why others can’t do the same.

Yes. I buy 95% of my little girl’s stuff on Vinted and I’ve had maybe 3 or 4 orders where stuff has been a lot more stained or damaged, but unless it’s awful I tend to give the benefit of the doubt because busy mums trying to make a few £ during nap time…but you can only give so much grace, some people are just grim 😅

Depends on the smell… as above some people just smell different if you know what I mean. However I can absolutely understand when it’s a smell of smoke/sweat/musty - I hate it and sometimes this can’t be washed out - if it was this bad I’d probably say something.
Sometimes putting on a cold wash with white vinegar, and then drying out in the sun can get rid of most smells - worth a try when often it isn’t worth paying the postage to return it!

Whether I’d leave negative feedback is on how the seller reacts when you let them know there is a problem, if they’re defensive and rude then I would but if it was just a honest mistake or something then I’d give grace.
I buy and sell on vinted a lot so I know how hit and miss it can be!
