I recently saw a fertility specialist for our secondary infertility problems and they have suggested a HSG test to check my fallopian tubes for blockage, damage etc.
I just want to know what to expect from the test and if it helped you to conceive as I have heard that fertility can increase for the next few months

I've had it done. It wasn't that bad for me; it was more uncomfortable rather than painful. I had it done at my fertility clinic versus a hospital, and I think that made a huge difference (since they do them all the time). I didn't conceive afterward, but it did give me peace of mind in knowing my tubes weren't blocked.
