Milk production
Hey! What are the signs of milk production starting please? I’m 22 weeks tomorrow and apart from my boobs getting bigger I haven’t noticed any changes

With my 1st I started leaking about 30 weeks, definitely just started with achy boobs etc x
It could just be all the hormones making your boobs grow, ready to make colostrum which you give to baby before milk comes through 3-5 days PP ☺️ it’s a normal sign during pregnancy x

There will be no signs of that until after your placenta detached. You cannot judge milk supply while still pregnant, at all! Since you are so early on, it would be very beneficial for you to take a breastfeeding course even one hour online. So you can learn all about how it works and what to expect, what is normal and not :)
