Am I the only pregnant person that wants to eat BAR SOAP 🧼?

Have you had your iron checked? Off the wall cravings for inedible things usually means you have a deficiency.

Girl it’s called pica!! It can happen in pregnancy to want to eat stuff you’re not supposed to lol. You crave cleaning products or dirt, weird stuff.

I was like that when I was pregnant for some reason but it was the Irish spring soap I loved it and actually took a bite 😅🤦🏽‍♀️

I’ve been walking around with a can of Ajax just smelling it cause I know I can’t eat it 😭

🤣🤣🤣 Oh my gosh. I craved cascade dish soap (and cat litter, and dirt, and coffee grounds, and concrete)! Al of them for the texture (no I didn’t eat any of it). I had coffee grounds once, LOTS of ice, and Sonic slushies for the citrusy scent from cascade. We didn’t even use the soap. I’d literally walk into the grocery isle just to smell it as I walked by. 🤣 my cravings were so intense that I bought a snowcone shaver for ice every day. 🤣 I was not deficient in iron or any vitamins via blood work, it was just something that I couldn’t get enough of. Now I can’t stand lime or chewing ice! Hahaha

Nope I loved soap so bad and Dish washing liquid and Detergent the dr told me that means iron deficiency 😭

exactly before I got pregnant I could NOT sit here & eat crushed ice or any ice now I eat it 24/7 I’m crunching on ice right now sniffing laundry beads 😩😭

I did get it checked it’s an 11 I think it’s supposed to be like 12 but the doctor not really concerned about it 😩😭

🤣🤣🤣 Guess what dish soap we use now? Cascade. Guess who has no problem doing dishes anymore? ME. 🤣🤣 I was the same. With ice, I could crunch on it like popcorn. Now I’m so sensitive to it, I literally don’t know how I was able to eat cupfuls every day. Our fridge’s ice machine couldn’t even keep up. I also would BLAST the A/C in the apartment. I’m talking like 68° and keeping a fan on me at night. I was just a furnace! 🤣🤣 A few weeks after giving birth, I told my husband he was crazy for keeping the A/C at 68 because I was FREEZING. Hormones are wild!

omg now that’s crazy I’m kinda okay with it bc I know my house going to be super clean lol I can clean up now but it’s hard for me to do everything I want to at 36 weeks I just be sniffing the cleaning products 😂

girl yessss I blast the AC my man is always freezing 😂 trying to turn it down like I won’t realize it lol

Congratulations! Who knows, maybe the cravings are a boy’s thing. 🤣 My little guy loves his happy bath time and loves to be bundled up until he’s a bit rosy. Maybe it was a sign for a snuggly, silly, bubbly little boy. 💙

I Craved Cornstarch 😭 With my Little Girl I Loved it so much i was sucking it Through a Straw But I found out my iron was Really Low and i used to put cornstarch In jars with bars of soap to sent and Eat

Mine was addiction on sniffing gasoline when i was pregnant with my twins and snacking pebbled ice :-) so weird cravings got twin boys
