Ultrasound

Hi guys does anyone know how or where I can get a cheap or if possible free ultrasound. IV got a referral but I can't afford to get it done as I called and it's either $300 or the cheapest I found was $200 I want to get at least one ultrasound done for this pregnancy.

Bubscan in Sefton does 3D/4D and the ladies there are lovely. They have different packages starting from $80.

Just ultrasound in the city does all ultrasounds bulk billed !!

Google bulk billed imaging near me. I had mine all bulk billed at lumus imaging (strathfield private hospital) and at RPA. You just need a refferal.

Granville is $180 and you get the $100 back

There are two places in Mount Druitt near the Westfield that bulk bill

Aspire radiology in Hornsby is free/bulk bill, just need to make an appointment and bring your referral x

How far along are you? I know some places do bulk bill dating scans, but most places will charge for scans post this. I remember I had abdominal pain and they wouldn’t bulk bill it, because I was pregnant as well.

But another option is I see you 3D ultrasound - she’s mobile and comes to your home for $120 on weekdays.

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Ways to induce labor naturally

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.
