You should get a blood test to see you hcg levels

I would call them and ask. I’m hoping their tests are less sensitive or something x

I’m so sorry to hear that. I did one after the doctors and mine came up positive 1-2 weeks so I don’t know whether doctors ones is different hcg level ?

thank you, that’s what I thought. I’m not having any bleeding or anything so I hope it is less sensitive then ones I’ve done. Xx

Sadly no I got a positive I took 7 tests I was 2 months pregnant I didn’t know I went to the doctor took a pee test they said it was negative so I got a blood test and my hcg levels were really low and a few days after that I felt really fatigue and got cramps and they said it was a miscarriage

But keep in mind the tests at doctors offices are really cheap so sometimes it doesn’t pick up the positive that’s why I said get a blood test because if your hcg levels are high then you should be fine

the doctor told me she won’t refer me because I’ve not missed my period yet and cause her test was negative. She told me one of her patients constantly gets positive pregnancy test and apparently it’s normal 😮

I’m going to ring doctor and say I want the bloods done. How long does it take for the bloods to come back? Is it like the same day ?

That doesn’t make sense at all they should refer you to get a blood test maybe you should go to a different doctor look up one specially for pregnant women they’ll test you tell them you got a positive and you want to know your hcg levels because your doctor is saying it’s negative and you have positives it’s very important because you need to know if your levels are lowering or highering

I know! exactly what I said. I rang and asked to speak to a different doctor so waiting for a call back and will ask for my hcg levels to be tested. Thank you x

Okay good I think your fine tho you don’t have any bleeding so your fine just wait for the next doctor that doctor just has cheap tests ima be praying for you regardless you got this 💞

I agree with everything daeja said there. Let us know how you get on. I got HCG back the next day but obviously there’s the weekend and you have to wait for a doctor to look at the results before they tell you the info so it can take a couple of days. Xx

I’m hoping because of my previous ectopic pregnancy they said I’m higher risk so hopefully they’ll check it and tell me on the day x

I've also had a previous ectopic . I pray that you have a healthy pregnancy. I would take a normal line test and call your local antenatal department. Find their number online and explain your history. They should get u in to check hcg levels. I think mine came back later in the day and then you'll go back two days later to check increase x

It is! Tomorrow they can tell you how much they expect it to be. That’s what they are looking for as levels rise slowly if ectopic. They might need to test you again to see how your levels progress / early scan / they ask about symptoms at 6-8weeks but that’s a bit early for you I think.

No I’ve only just missed my period so 4 weeks since last one

My first hcg levels on 31/5 at 13dpo was 143 and two days later today on 2/6 15dpo they were 362. They want to repeat them again in 2 days time. Is this a bad hcg increase ? Or is this quite normal ? I’m worried it might be another ectopic 😭

That’s more than double so my opinion is it’s progressing normally but great to be checked out given your concerns. I’d be happy with that xx

My levels were about the same as yours in the early days. I can't remember the exact numbers but my increase was slow and steady. When I had my ectopic, my tests were super strong and I had an obvious positive from early on. However, this time around, my tests were super light, didn't get a positive until later on and at the first scan they couldn't actually see anything and gave me leaflets for pregnancy of unknown location which of course made me panic! I did have some cramps in the early days, too. All this said, try not to worry until you've had a scan and everything is confirmed! I'm sure you will be absolutely fine. Keep positive girl!xx

i got to back in on Tuesday so we will see what it does then. I’m hopeful. I feel like it’s all okay and it’s a healthy pregnancy so just praying xx
