Hi, I had the same thing. I gave birth on Friday and milk came on Monday. I just managed to get all the colostrum by hand expressing. I hand expressed all the time on Sunday cause I was a bit worried why it was not coming. Then on Monday I woke up engorged and the breasts were leaking milk

I had similar as my baby was taken straight to NICU when he was born. Didn’t have much luck hand expressing colostrum but when I eventually put baby to breast he latched straight away and then I suddenly had an ample supply of colostrum and milk came in the following day. So my advice would be to put baby to breast even if you don’t think you have any milk as you would be surprised.

That’s what I’ve been trying to do on breast anytime.

Are they latching and feeding? If they are getting colostrum that's great they only need tiny bits at a time milk is constantly changing but day 3 to 4 that’s where you will get engorged as a milk matures more and changes from the thick colostrum

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
