What are you doing with your 2-4 week old?

Same here! I was barely able to take a shower just now! 😅

Yeah, nah. I change her, feed her, and either cuddle her or let her wiggle on the floor. Sometimes my toddler wants to hold her or read to her. But that last part might last for 5-15 min after the basics are covered. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I add washing bottles cuz i am formula feeding 😂 every else the same

I feel the same. All she wants from me is to eat and be held.

I’m having tons of nap refusal

When it’s my husband, he feeds him and they nap together. With me? He’s wide awake for hours. I read to him, show him high contrast art, lay him down with activity gym, stare in the mirror making faces, bath time, anything I can try to do to get him to sleep again so I have time to go to the bathroom and pump so I can feed him again in 20 minutes 😆

haha I feel you! I am bottle feeding too it takes up a good chunk of my day cleaning them over and over lol

I’ve been saying I’m gonna relax these first 2. Lots of Lounging, feeding & napping & then I’m gonna start mentally preparing myself to get back on schedule for work in another month & daycare for my 12wk old 🥺. So much to do in the next 6 wks, INS, doc appts, etc. Just remind yourselves not to get overwhelmed & stay stress free Mamas. I’m doing it all on my own 🙌🏾

I wake up, change her, feed her, clean my pump what feels like 100000x a day lol. Let her lay on my chest, give her to daddy for cuddles, and repeat 🔁 and manage to squeeze in a shower and clean the house while she sleeps. 😂

it’s really frustrating but maybe it’s because we are 2 weeks old? Growth spurt? Or maybe because we are trying bassinet naps and not contact naps?

We’re all in the same boat. Showers have been hard to squeeze in. My baby won’t let me put her down for longer than 2 minutes without crying. 😩 I’m breastfeeding and sometimes it seems like she’s never full. Other times she’ll fall asleep while nursing. I’m just taking it one day at a time. Pumping is a challenge too cause I never know a good time to do it. And the bottles don’t last long before I’m giving them to her. I thought I could build a milk inventory so I can have a drink one day or give her to her dad… yeah no. lol.

Also just surviving over here☠️ using my comment to vent a little bit, my baby has been being so difficult about breastfeeding omg. I mostly pump, but I try to breastfeed twice a day. After these sessions, she feeds for forever on the bottle😵‍💫 so exhausting. I try to do tummy time each day too for 10 min, does anyone know if I'm supposed to be doing it more than that?

10 min is plenty of time for a new born. And I’m almost a month with my baby girl. I got the comotomo silicon bottles and my baby girl loves them.
