How often do you wash school uniform?

My partner thinks I should just be buying Kmart trackies cause they’re very similar but they’ve made it clear of how strict they are with the dress code. Does anyone else do this? 😂

My kids have 5 tops, 5 pants and 2 jumpers.
Jumpers are usually worn 2 days but everything else is washed after each wear.

We definitely wear Kmart/ best and less pants as they just need to be black.

If it’s a public school they can’t stop you from finding cheaper alternatives. Also look to see if there is a second hand uniform page on fb

I’d love to buy him a few more pairs of pants but not at $50 each. That’s just insane especially when you can find something very similar elsewhere for a lot cheaper. It is a public school. I wash my kid's dress, shorts, shirts, and trackies after every use. For jumpers and hats, they can be worn more than once. Maybe I'll wash twice a week or just once depending on how dirty they got.

Have you checked if the school has second hand shop? I buy majority of ours second hand xx

I remember having 2 school uniforms- I'd wear one 2 days and another 3 days. They got washed once a week. I guess it depends if your kid is running around a lot or getting dirty - if not you could definitely wash it less.
My toddler gets a few days out of pants and jumpers now that she's cleaner with food and not having accidents
