Hey
I paid for it, I'm finding it very useful.
It definitely helps me with her daytime naps as sometimes I struggle to figure when she is due.
Also during the first few weeks I had such brain fog, I couldn't remember what happened 5 mins before so it helped me keep track
I paid £37 for it though while it was on a deal. I don't think i would pay any more for it

@Emma has it helped with night sleeps at all?

Avatar

Not sure on the night sleeps to be honest. She always falls asleep about 8pm by herself.
It does work out what her bedtime would be after inputing all the day naps in. So I suppose if your baby doesn't have a set bed time then it can help determine when he/she will need to go to sleep

I used the free trial and have gone from that really and didn’t pay for it after but now works out by me watching for her nap cues as I roughly follow her wake windows from the sweet spot when I had it

Ive had the paid version ever since my girl was 8 weeks, she’s now 16 months and still use it. It has helped with naps and nighttime sleep so many times

We used the free trial and it was really handy to learn what he needed and when. Now I just look for the cues we saw during that and go from there. You can also look on their website for rough schedules to follow based on your baby's age.
If I could afford to throw money at the app I possibly would but 8/9 months we've got on just fine without it

Not useful at all. Doesn’t acrually realise that it doesn’t know how long a nap is so just doesn’t work at all

It’s worked amazingly for us! My baby falls asleep to the minute of the sweet spot 9/10. Takes all the guess work out of it x

Avatar

I definitely recommend! It works 9/10 times for us! And Chloe goes down without any fuss. Whereas if I think she’s tired and put her down early or anything then she tends to not go and cry

Hey just checking in with you all. So I paid for it and have used it the last 3 days/ nights. Her naps in the day are good in the sense that she’s going down in less than 10 minutes but generally she would anyway. Her naps haven’t extended in duration. However at night time she has started screaming in the night. The only way I can describe it is that it feels like a night terror but I read that she’s Farr to young for this. I’m not sure if I’m fucking up her natural routine but she has never ever ever ever behaved like this befor. Is it just a coincidence it’s started since using huckleberry!?

Avatar

how old is baby? Could they be teething?

Avatar

Just turned 5 months x

Avatar

I’ve been giving her calpol
For the last 2 nights to aid with any teething issues so maybe. It just feels odd that it’s coincided with using the app for naps. Perhaps I’m over thinking

Avatar

could be the 6 month sleep regression, mine started when my daughter was around 5 months

Avatar

I feel for you!
It's a total confidence. My LO is also crying a fair amount during the night (currently awake due to her crying). I think it's one of those regressions.....I hope so! This is the worse one so far and I'm pulling my hair out over it

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
