Help! My 3 week old won’t burp. Am I doing something wrong? We keep changing her positions and trying for almost an hour at a time and nothing. She farts a lot but no burps :( makes me feel bad to lay her down after not burping but she just won’t.

Is she breastfed? Most breastfed babies do not burp as often as they rarely take in air while eating!
Babies give us signs of needing to burp if they are breastfed. Consistently pulling off the breast towards the end of a feed, moving body constantly while feeding, fussing/crying during feeding, etc.
I give her breast milk in a bottle

According to the “Physicians Guide to Breastfeeding”- because human breastmilk is a physiologic substance that digests easily and has rapid transit time through the stomach, burping is not necessary.
I would assume this is similar if you are bottle feeding. If your baby looks comfortable, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Does she have signs of being uncomfortable/needing to burp?

My baby doesn’t always burp but when she doesn’t burp she farts. To me that is assuring cause at least the tube is patent! Something went in and something went out the other way! I accept farting as a form of burping, just on the other end 😆
she gets fussy sometimes and then lets out some really mean farts so like said maybe it’s just coming out the other end? Thank you ladies for making me feel better about this!
