Tantrums ?

I keep seeing everyone talking about tantrums and i am not sure what to think.
My little girl is 19 months now , she does get upset or cries if we don’t give her something that she wants but we usually just redirect her to a toy or something else , like we just ask her “ oh where is your baby or your puppy “ and she just goes looking for it .
There is a new thing that she started doing recently, she is constantly winging or trying to cry with no tears whenever she wants something, or if she doesn’t like something.

Are these tantrums? What should I do ? Sometimes she just seems to be a little spoiled brat 😅🙈

She also does things on purpose to annoy me because she knows exactly what she’s doing and shouldn’t be doing.
I blame that on me as of recently I haven’t spent much time with her at home due to so much house cleaning , organising and cooking. We are mostly out and the house can get quite messy as I can’t keep up with everything 🙈🙈

Oh the “cries” with no tears make me laugh. Like I can tell when she’s genuinely upset compared to when she’s just whingy and forcing it out and I’m like that’s not even a real cry 🤦🏻‍♀️ except my daughter likes to accompany it with throwing herself on the floor and kicking her legs everywhere. Redirecting sometimes works but other times we’ve just got to ride it out. I’m similar I do think some of her behaviour is down to me not being able to spend as much quality time with her. I’m a sahm but expecting number 2 and struggling with a lot of pain at the moment so it really limits what we can do and on top of that I’m spending a lot of time sorting the house ready for the new baby so I have so much mum guilt over that

The whingey cry is annoying. My daughter will close her eyes then open them to make sure I’m looking before carrying on. I acknowledge how she’s feeling but hold the boundary. Such big feelings. I did read that they do tend to act out when they’re seeking connection. Sometimes she’s just being a A*hole (sorry but she is 🤣)

omg that actually made me laugh, looks like she is very funny 😁 . I am trying to get involved when she is playing, but looks like she just wants to do her own thing. Also she slapped an older little girl today at the park, because the little girl told her not to take her toy away and tried to pull it out of her hands , i felt so bad and embarrassed 😳 . I really don’t know how to handle that . She just goes up to kids and wants to take their toys to play with them . She completely ignores me if i say no . Xx

Honestly it’s a good job she’s funny. She frowns at me and will look me dead in the eye whilst carrying on the thing I’ve told her to stop doing. Raising the future leaders is hard. I don’t want to break their spirit, I want them to stand their ground but parenting that is exhausting haha They don’t understand at that age. They have no logic. They want what they want hence the major meltdowns and tantrums over seemingly nothing major.
The kids and my daughter is like this at nursery, grabbing and trying to get the toys off each other. When we’re out and about, I just keep reminding her of gentle hands and I tell her she has to wait her turn. Not that she cares but I’m just staying consistent and hoping that she learns eventually. All kids go through it, it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. My daughter stop my friends daughter getting in her ball pool, pushed her out by her face and made her cry so I said gentle hands and removed her from the ball pool and explained why I had. So hard

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
