Newborn Bathtime

I’ve done this many times! It’s fun! Baby seems to enjoy it! Be careful they’re so slippery!

I sit at the end of the bath when my baby has a bath, we have a bath chair for him, I can't bend over the tub well due it back issues so it's much easier. The water isn't very deep though. I think he is calmer when he can see me properly as well. I agree though be careful of slippery baby 😅

It’s definitely easier to do tandem baths/showers once they have more head control. Logistics wise it’s good to have someone to pass the baby to once you’re done to get them dry and dressed :)

If you have the option, a tub or bucket on kitchen table was a better height wise for my back. Or a kitchen sink or something.

My baby and I take a bath together every night! It’s great bonding time and much easier than trying to lean over the tub! I can clean him better (on the days we do wash, most days we just sit in the warm water to relax) he also has learned it as his nighttime routine! I find it much easier to just do it together
