Naps

Just curious. What time does your baby nap (or how many hours awake) until their first nap? Let's say if baby wakes up at 730 am (slept 10.5 hrs at night)? What time would they nap? Are they doing 2 naps? What happens if baby only slept 15 minutes? What would you do?

My baby wakes up at 8:30am
First nap is at 11am usually 1 1/2 hours
Second nap is at 5pm for 2 hours sometimes longer I don’t let him sleep past 630
Bedtime is 9pm

Some days it doesn’t go like this though lol

Man your guys kids sleep so long 😭 my son usually goes to sleep between 7-8pm then gets up around 4-6:30am. Then he naps in the late morning for 45 minutes to an hour then again around 3-4

It really depends on the day. On a typical day she’d wake up between 6:30-7, eat, play, nap, then wake up eat lunch play then take an afternoon bottle and sleep. We don’t let her sleep past 6pm, bedtime is between 8-8:30 or 8-9 depends on the Day

My baby is a late sleeper/ late riser, so her schedule is a bit unorthodox.
She wakes around 10:30am.
Her first( and sometimes only) nap around at 2pm. If this nap lasts 2 hours, it'll be the only one. If it's an hour or less, her second nap will be around 5:30 for about an hour.
She usually falls asleep for the night around 10pm

Do your kids wake up during the night? Some nights he wakes up to snuggle or get a bottle or sometimes he’s so full of energy we let him play for a little and he falls back to sleep

We have about three hours in between waking and sleeping. She wakes around 8:30 or 9 so nap is usually at 12 and her naps usually are 2 hours give or take. If she doesn’t sleep long I might try to give her more milk and see and if she doesn’t go back to sleep I’ll just get her up. And we do 1-2 naps c a day depending on if that first nap went long or not then I might keep her up more than three hours for bedtime

Currently he wakes up around 5:30ish, takes a morning nap, usually an hour or shorter before 9am. Afternoon is hit or miss. Sometimes, he is tired enough to take two shorter naps( around noon and 3) or one longer Afternoon nap. Then bedtime 6:30-7 is when he usually shows signs to go to sleep. He sleeps through the night

My child gets up between 6:30 and 7:30 and he usually makes it about four hours then naps once for 2.5-3 for the day and goes down at 7:30-8pm

no wake ups at night since 5 months old.
Does baby burn a lot of energy during day? Is he on solids?
Once I transitioned baby girl to solids, she started to sleep better and longer!

Wake 6-7am
About 3 hour wake window
1st nap 9.30/10 am (1-1.5 hrs)
2nd nap around 2/2.30pm
It's mostly an hour he sleeps but depends on morning nap,
No naps past 5pm
Bed between 7 and 8pm
He usually has a bottle before each nap and before bed, he also eats 3 meals

he plays all day, eats plenty of solids, he just doesn’t want to sleep all night 😔 it’s so overwhelming

Right now it’s 3am here and he’s laying on my chest

honestly girl we started sleep training at 4 months old and have just kept a consistent routine we do bath bottle bed is what I call it lol we do bath at 6 bottle at 7 and after that i rock him and put him in his crib and he either soothe himself to sleep or he is already asleep. But I think where we started so young. Also we use night time diapers more absorbent so no need for diaper changes and we also have kept his schedule very try strict even on weekends. Honestly we got blessed!

we didn't sleep train, but she's sleeping great night. Ever since she was 2 months old. It's just her naps were having trouble with. She can't seem to put herself to sleep. She used to when she was 4 months, but then my husband got her used to being swayed 😩. So naps were still working on. Bedtime she's getting better at soothing herself.

Well I will say this I give in to him going in his swing sometimes to settle but he does very well sometimes if I just put him in his play pen he will just fall asleep playing lol

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
