Cramping

Hey I’m 14 weeks today and since yesterday I’ve been noticing sharp cramping, like period cramps, on the right side of my pelvic area. It’s pretty uncomfortable and I’m just worried.

All scans have looked great! Baby has been doing well with a strong heartbeat. No bleeding or anything else concerning. I’ve been really constipated due to being on an iron supplement so maybe it has something to do with that? Idk please help 💖

Constipation can definitely cause that type of discomfort

round ligament pain or gas can cause it by or simply your uterus stretching and things moving out of its way.

I'm at 12 weeks and I've had the same pain for a while and it usually occurs when I don't drink enough water.

Magnesium helps with constipation! I’m 16 weeks tomorrow and last week I had some pretty gnarly cramps. I think he was mad at me because he wanted more food. Once I ate food till I felt full the cramps went away! But I know cramps can be common because of your uterus stretching and baby growing. It could be round ligament pains too but if you’re concerned I would reach out to your doctor and ask them for peace of mind

I had/have similar sharp cramps - both period like, stabbing and side specific at times. Sometimes they are quite sudden. Rest assured, they are normal, per my last two doctor appointments. Your body is moving all sorts of internal stuff around. Round ligament pain is the later version of this. Walking helps loosen things, particularly before bed. I feel them most when stationary.

I’m 12 weeks and a bout a week ago the whole week straight I was cramping really really bad in my abdomen but no bleeding, I think it’s just our bodies expanding and making room for the baby to grow or something. I wouldn’t stress so much about it as long as your not bleeding or having very bad back pain than don’t stress but if your that concern see your OB

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
