Mum guilt

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and I can't stop thinking about my 1 year old, i feel so guilty for bringing another baby into his life so soon, I know it's a blessing and I'm so excited to have my two boys but I'm just so scared my eldest will feel left out as I won't be able to give him my full attention 24/7 anymore 😭

Aww hun I know exactly what you mean, 28weeks pregnant and my son turned 1 last week and the guilt is next level especially as he’s going through his most clingy phase 😩 he literally won’t let me out of his sight and I just can’t see how I’m gonna successfully juggle 2 without him feeling abandoned for someone new 💔
I keep telling myself in the long run he won’t know any different but that makes me sad too, I love our 1on1 time together, I’m really gonna miss it xx

Awhh bless. I hear you too. I'm 21 weeks and I feel like my 1 year old has realised I've stopped picking him up as much and I cuddle him differently. He goes to his dad more and become clingier with him too... I feel guilty already it's sad...

I’m 25 weeks and if I’m honest I don’t have much guilt. My daughter will never know any difference. I think it’ll be harder if there was a big age gap as she’d know and remember what it’s like to get our whole attention. Having a small age gap means she won’t ever remember what being an only child is like. I am lucky my daughter plays well by herself and we encourage that as much as we can but in a few years she’ll hopefully have the best bond with her little sister and I know we’d of done the right thing x

I’m 20 weeks with my second and although I do feel guilty and sad that my little boy won’t have my full attention anymore, I also feel a bit guilty and sad that my second never will have had that! Then I just remember that they are going to grow up so close in age, playing together and will hopefully be the best of friends, then I feel better 🥰

My SIL has Irish twins (10 months apart) both boys. They are a little twosome. And honestly they won’t know any different, they’ll have always had each other.
My mums friend had an only child (conceived when she was young with her first husband) and then years later when she decided to have kids with her new husband she was determined to have 2 and have a small age gap so they grew up together and she said it was the best thing she did.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

My little one is struggling with sleep

Hey! I'm in need of some advice please girls! My little boy is 20 months turns 21 months in 2 half weeks. He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
