Gender

I have my 12 week scan next week with NHS, are they able to do a blood test to determine gender? Has anyone done this privately in London? How far along do I need to be? I can’t wait!!

I did it but it’s quite expensive.. NIPT test from 11 weeks. Results came back within 4 days :)

Yeah there’s a private test you can do for sure! I went for a private scan with my first at 14 weeks and they could tell me then. Might be cheaper than the blood test. Have a Google. Exciting for you 🩷💙

With the nhs you don’t find out gender until your 20 week scan but there are definitely things you can do privately. We just opted for a private scan in both pregnancies x

You can buy the blood test online and send it back by post - they claim to be 99% accurate
Company I used is Sneak Peak Testing
They have an offer on at the moment for £69 which is cheaper than most private clinics

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
