Anyone diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes? I'm 26 weeks, 4 days pregnant and just got diagnose with Gestational diabetes.

I've not had it but what are the symptoms? If you experienced any that is! I was lucky with my first and didn't have it but I feel so different with this pregnancy...got my GTT in a couple weeks

Yep me too ✋️ finding despite reducing sugar and metformin still having blood sugar highs

Would definitely recommend joining the Gestational Diabetes UK Facebook group for advice and support. The NHS dietary advice can be very hit and miss and just focuses on the “eat well” in my experience.

I had GD in my first pregnancy and had an early test at 16 weeks this time round. Having a second in a few weeks time but hoping to avoid it!

I have no symptoms. It was a complete surprise.

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.
Little one will be 6 week tomorrow

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
