Getting rid of overhang

I'm 5 weeks pp, my c section overhang has reduced with my uterus, but has anyone successfully gotten rid of their overhang completely? If so, what did you do to get rid of it?

Following as I’m in a similar position! 5 weeks pp and belly deflated substantially straight after surgery and has steadily got smaller but now seems to have plateaued leaving an overhang. I’m also wondering when I can start things like scar massage etc but got to wait till 8 weeks for my doctors check up

I’m 4 months pp this is probably abit bias because my son was in Nicu and while he was there I at a sandwich a week I had no appetite so a lot of my baby weight went through starving but my actual overhang went because after the 6 weeks I kept active all the time even just going for walks with my son in the pram n it helped to strengthen my muscles n I did my pelvic floor excercises aswell which I could tell helped as soon as I started doing them

I started using the stomach wrap binder right after 2weeks to reduce the swelling and overhang , in fact I think binding helps with my movement better and lessen the pain whenever I try to sit up from a rest position.

I’m 11 weeks pp and finding as I’m loosing weight the overhang is reducing but I am doing a fair amount of swimming as it’s not to strenuous and gradually increasing my exercise x

Use a binder now or stomach wrap or faja for compression. If you don’t it will stay

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
