New mom her, Needs help!!! Prenatal Classes and Resources

Hi all,
This group seems a bit quiet but I need help with finding support and helpful resources.
I am a first time mom, and we just moved yo Nashua this year, so I know NO-ONE in the area.

Secondly, I recently changed my Oby and care team from women’s care Nashua to St Joseph Obgyn and Midwifery. Pray that was the better choice, I felt that in my case with multiple fibroids Women’s care wasn’t hands on and detailed with information.
My midwives at St Joes so far have been more informative. I worry about their birthing facilities though compared to the Southern New Hampshire’s the birth place. Which of these two did you use ?

Hi honey. Fibroid mama here, pregnant with #2. First one birthed in manchester Elliot hospital which has a nice NICU, which was needed after section at 37 weeks. Now I'm in Nashua and going to st. Josephs like you and leaning towards midwife and hoped to have a natural birth, though doesn't look likely. Getting evaluated by Dr. Kaufman at 20 weeks, who can give me more info

Thanks for sharing!
I was at the labor and delivery at St Joseph last week due to preterm contractions and the nurses and midwife were super nice. I am sticking with St Joseph. Praying for natural birth too.

St Joe's is phenomenal for labor & delivery along with all my OB care. I cannot say enough about them. I didn't deliver there, most my cousins & my own SIL delivered all 4 of hers there from 2016 to 2022 & every time it was amazing. My brother's wife also delivered st Joe's. I delivered at southern NH had zero issues during pandemic lockdown/ phenomenal services etc however southern is usually not the best/ too busy etc.

St Joe's is best for ER but next to St Joe's is Elliot in Manchester for children specifically. But also moms & adults. Way better than St Joe's or Southern overall for pediatric/ primary care. St Joe's is good for primary lol Just no one could ever compare to Elliot. You will be in the best hands. Also I believe you would have delivered at southern staying with women's Care, my Endo specialist works out of the nashua women's care offices xoxo

Anyone from nashua that grew up here, we all know hands down St Joe's to deliver if we have a choice. I knew nurses at southern so went there in trust & had above & beyond treatment. I took a bath, I didn't do epidural until 4 hours from sporadic delivery ❤️ everyone talks highly of St Joe's. I have family that have been longterm nurses at St Joe's, my grandma still works there ❤️ & my great aunt used to run the nursing department for 30 years until retiring in SC 7 years ago now.

Lost friends since being a mum

Good morning! Can anyone relate to this!

My two friends and me have always been close since our early teens. I’m the first to have a baby.

One friend has big house, career and boyfriend

Other out of a long term relationship and being single having fun etc

Before baby we would all hang at my
Apartment, chat eat and just have
Fun.

Now I don’t even get a text to ask how my baby is, how I am. I really thought they would be awesome aunties. But honestly they don’t care.

They meet up a lot to do cool things, which I can’t be upset about as I can’t as I have my baby.

I don’t know I feel sad about it.

Am I over reacting?

31 weeks pregnant and lonely

How to deal with loneliness in pregnancy when your boyfriend goes out with his friends drinking 😅🥲 I only have three friends, two are never really free and one lives back in Liverpool and has her own set of friends where she goes to raves and goes on holiday with them lol. My boyfriend is going out soon for the night as it’s sunny and I’ll just be sat here crying like every single time! When does it stop 🤣
