Anyone who had a c section (please specify whether elective or emergency) how many nights did you have to stay before you could go home? Thank you ❤️

I stayed 4 nights but only cos I had complications. With my first I only stayed 2 nights

Had an emergency c section and was discharged in just less than 24 hours so just one night. Got an elective this Thursday and hoping it will be the same and no complications

I had emergency c section and was discharged after 2 nights. It would have been after 1 night but we had to wait for blood tests to come back to check baby didn't have an infection before we could go!

I had an elective section and was in for one night

Emergency c section and stayed one night only. He was born at 9pm and was out by 9am. As long as I was able to get up and walk as well as a certain measurement of wee - they were happy for me to go.

Having elective this time and had planned for it to be the same (fingers crossed!).

I’ve had 2 elective C-sections and I’ve been discharged the next day with both. About 36 hours later x

Emergency c section and stayed 3 nights

Planned c section and I went in at 7am, had baby at 11:28am was discharged the next day at 11:30/12 (lunchtime)

I've had 2 electives also and been discharged next day with both of them!

Emergency Cat 2 on Monday, would've been an overnight stay (go home Tuesday) but had an infection and complications so had to stay in an extra day, hoping bloods let me go home today (Weds - 2 nights post section). X

Mine wasn't a full emergency but I wasn't progressing enough during labour (induced due to GD) so the doctor suggested it. I stayed 2 nights. Would have been 1 but baby needed some extra checks.

I just had an emergency c section Saturaday. My baby was 3 weeks early. We left Sunday midday. No complications and all her and my tests etc came back okay. I was itching to leave.

Emergency, stayed 2 nights but the second was only really because baby wasn’t feeding well

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.
Little one will be 6 week tomorrow

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

32 weeks

32 week growth scan and clinic appointment. Did anything unusual happen? Ive heard a few people saying 32 weeks was when they had a induction date
