My baby is 6 months and 1 week. We started her on solids last week. We are pure vegetarian, giving her homemade cerelac in morning and veggies in late afternoon. Shes only just pooped after 6 days and now pooing 2 times a day but its like really hard and adult type of poop. Not sticky nor runny. Has cracks and stoney. Is this normal? What should the texture be like?
I am EBF as normal. When i give a meal ill give her warm water 30mins after and my milk as normal.
Im hoping shes not dehydrated

She can have tap water with her meals , sounds like she is constipated. Try and give her some pureed prunes as that will help and encourage more water when eating the solids to get her digestive system used to the new foods x

Yeah my boy was like this at the start but I now mix half a pouch of prune puree in his cerelac in the morning and he now goes 2x a day normal poop x
Thank youu both. What is normal poop?
