C section - is your scar area still sore to touch?

Hi folks,

I had my 6 week check up after my c section and when I left I realised they hadn't asked me about pain.

If anyone bad a c section around 6 weeks ago, is your scar area still sensitive and sore to the touch, like a bruise?

Thanks!

Will feel like it for months.

Mine is really uncomfortable to touch, like super sensitive. I’m guessing the nerves were irritated and now recovering. Massaging with a moisturiser seems to be helping x

I'm 8 weeks pp and it's still sore sometimes and sensitive as well as a little numb

Mines been so so painful the last few days I’ve had to take tablets again but not sure if it’s because I’ve been doing things with my toddler picking him up bathing him etc so a bit worried I’ve pulled it inside my yuk mum pouch feels all bruised and achey to touch x

Mine is itchy more than anything, I did hurt myself the other day by changing my bedding (I'm very stubborn) also has everyone had a 6 week check up? I haven't had anyone check my scar since 10 days after my section 🤔 I'm 7 weeks pp now

I'm almost six weeks and still a little bruised feeling to poke it. But it doesn't really hurt like throughout the day

when I registered my little boy at the GP, they booked us in for his immunisations at eight weeks and a postpartum check up for me at the same time. So, no one has checked me since about 10 days pp too 🤷‍♀️

my LB can't have his immunisations for the first year due to biological treatment I had during my pregnancy, guessing I should ring my doctors surgery to book an appointment to get myself checked x

Is this normal?

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
