Peri-menopause

I’m 31 and have had some odd symptoms & periods have been off over the past few months. After doing some research it’s looking possible to be perimenopause.
What do I do? Do I go to the gp or straight to my gynaecologist (under his care due to endo, pcos and previous cervical cancer)
Any advice from ladies who have gone through it or are going through it please help as I’m very scared of what’s to come 😫xx

I'm 33 & I was told that I'm 'too young' to be peri-menopausal. If you are concerned & already have a gynaecologist, it may be worth asking the question?🤷🏼‍♀️ Just be aware that as you have already got PCOS & endo, plus you're still only quite young that you may be told that you're 'too young' to be peri-menopausal.

If you still have your mum & maternal grandmother around then best to ask them when they went through the menopause. As that'll help to give you an idea of approx when you will. Best of Luck!

They now have otc menopause tests that can indicate perimenopause. You can try that while you wait for your gyno visit.

My friend recently had the exact same issues/symptoms and she though it was early menopause too. She went to the doctors, they did some blood test and it turns out that she’s low on iron! So maybe all those symptoms are a sign of iron deficiency, especially if youve got a lot of ur plate atm.
