The odds of uterine rupture are less than 1%. In fact they’re about the same odds as someone who’s never had a c section at all. So I wouldn’t worry too much about that you’re gonna be all good.
I had a VBA2C and while I’m proud of myself and glad to have the experience looking back I think that yes the recovery was much easier but the trauma to my vagina and the 4 hours of pushing and the cone head my baby still has might not have been worth it. This is because I had two flawless c sections with quick and easy recoveries. If you had a hard time healing from your c section or you had infection or anything like that then it might be completely the opposite for you.
At the end of the day the key take aways are 1. You can totally do this if you want to and your doctor wants you to. 2. You’ll be back to normal the 2nd or 3rd day as far as being able to get around and care for baby. 3. I’m much more paranoid about uterine prolapse & the like than I ever would be about uterine rupture.
