Induction???

So.. I’ll be 40 weeks tomorrow and I also have a doctors appointment. I can ask for an induction right??? I physically cannot take this anymore. The pelvic pain, tailbone pain, insomnia, the heartburn, constant throwing up. I’m so miserable, atp I don’t care if they even gave me a C-section. My throat is burning from throwing up so much. Would they deny me if I asked to be induced??? They’re supposed to give me a membrane sweep but I also want to be scheduled for an induction in case the sweep doesn’t put me into labor as a backup plan. I just don’t want to do this anymore.

They may deny you if there’s no medical reason to unfortunatly. And even if you requested one there may be a waiting period before you can go ahead with it 😭

Omge I feel you. I’m trying my best not to get induced but it feels like he’s getting too big for my body literally. I can barely breathe when I lay down. I’m so uncomfortable like my body can’t take another week

In the UK they usually start bullying you to get an induction at this point so I’d be surprised if they say no!

I asked for an induction yesterday at 37 weeks, they've booked it for 2 weeks time. It is totally your decision!

Yes u can

You can ask for an induction. At my hospital u can ask for an elective induction at 39 weeks and then at 41 it’s medically recommended

I have my appointment tomorrow and I’m supposed to be getting a sweep. I’m 40 weeks on Friday and I’m going to get booked in for an induction too. I can’t take the waiting anymore 🫣

If you go in and complain that you have been feeling little to none or dramatic decrease in fetal movement they more than likely might offer induction

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
