So I ended up needing an emergency c-section and since then ive been in and out of hospital ( a whole 3 days ago) I’m finding the whole experience very traumatic and very stressful. Any tips on handling these feelings? I think the fact I’m still going through it all (currently sat in a hospital bed again) is making it hard to kinda process. I’ve got 2.5 year old aswell and I just feel like crying constantly.

Sorry I have no experience but just wanted to send my love 🤍
thank you so much ❤️❤️

I had birth trauma with my first and ptsd. Counselling has really helped! Talk to your midwife or health visitor and they should be able to help.

A little different scenario but I was in for about a week and a half with my last baby and had my eldest at home with friends / family and it’s crap. the added hormones and guilt and stress of not being in 3 places at the same time! I remember the lead midwife saying to me, day 3 was the hardest! I didn’t believe it until I literally bawled my eyes out all day on day 3 ( I don’t cry )! Best advice keep your chin up, you won’t be there forever and it’ll all be worth it when you get home. Cry, do what you’ve got to do to process it but in a month or so you’ll be so busy with babies that it won’t cross your mind. You’ve got to be healthy too and what feels like forever now the kiddos won’t remember ❤️ sorry not much on how to handle them because I don’t think I did at the time🤣
