She's here 💖 Elanor 💖

After an induction process which started on Monday evening and ended Wednesday 4th September at 19:34, our little girl has arrived! Turns out she was also in the 26th percentile and not <5th as previously estimated. But you can't know these things.. And the induction process went far better than I ever could have anticipated 💗 I absolutely cannot stop looking at her. I'm so in love ❤️

Congratulations! 🥳 She’s beautiful!

What type of induction methods did you use, if you don’t mind sharing?

Oh Lucy, congratulations! I've really enjoyed your positive updates on here and I'm so glad you had a good experience and baby girl is here safe and well 🩷 x

Omg she’s just precious. Well done mama.

@Ropa sure! So I had a gel on the second day I was in hospital (I was already 1cm), dilated to 2cm by the end of the day. Next morning I got my waters broken in the delivery suite and then contractions did start so they let me labour for a while on my own but eventually introduced an oxytocin drip which ramped things up super quickly 😬 She was born after about 7 hours of labouring and I ended up having an epidural ❤️

@Keeley thank you! I'd always been against an induction and actually it was a great experience. I was well looked after and all my feelings were listened to and respected 💗 I know many women aren't as lucky and it's probably dependent on the hospital too!

Aww congratulations 💕

It’s crazy how far off on the percentile they were 🤦🏼‍♀️ glad you had a successful induction!

That’s so good to hear. I’m booked in for an induction next week & this has made me feel so much more positive! So glad you had this experience!🤍

@Fliss overwhelmingly positive 😊💖 I had a few freak outs along the way but was really looked after and respected x I hope yours is just as positive❤️

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
