Nursery

I’m seeing a lot of posts of children my daughters age starting pre school and I’m a bit confused. With her being born on the 5th of September 2021, that would mean she would start pre-school in September 2025 right? And reception 2026?

She’s currently in nursery anyway. But she would be in that nursery for another 2 years?

Sooooo confusing!!!

What is everyone else planning to do?

Mines been going to a nursery which has baby, toddler and preschool rooms. Primary school (not sure if that is called nursery, preschool or reception) doesn't start until next year September but we have to apply for those schools this term.

Most nurseries have a preschooler room which is what most people are talking about I think. My Oct 21 baby has just moved up from the toddler room to the preschool

Preschool isn’t mandatory, my daughter started preschool at 2.5 she does 2 mornings a week. I also think the terms preschool & nursery are often interchangeable with people(!), I often correct people when they ask if my LG is in nursery & say she goes preschool. my understanding is that preschool is term time and nursery is all year round (that’s what they told me anyway 🤣) . Also worth noting her preschool is completely stand alone nothing to do with a school or attached to a school at all, so don’t worry mama 🥰xx

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏
