I tried to pick up my Zofran prescription and my OB had it canceled because she wants me to try this instead. (I've been on Zofran for general nausea for months, but I'm currently 6 weeks preg)

Idk sorry I only took zofran but it's completely safe in pregnancy. It's literally the main morning sickness medication.
I'm mostly pissed because when I told them I was taking Zofran, they literally said "oh yeah we prescribe that all the time for morning sickness!" So when I was told it was inactive at the pharmacy today I was just like WTF
Then I called my OB and that's when they told me I have to try the B6/unisom first 🙃 when Zofran works (a small dose, once a day at most. Like every other day.) Now I have to take two more pills every day when I'm already on so many, instead of taking something I'm used to and only as needed

My ob switched my zofran to bonjesta when I was pregnant it saved me . (Suffer from nausea spells pre pregnancy it was worse during pregnancy I needed to be on something but he said he’d rather the bonjesta than continue usage of zofran)

B6 and Unisom together is what is in zofran. Same chemicals. I took b6 and unisom because my insurance wouldn't cover morning sickness drugs. It worked well for me.

I have taken both for both of my pregnancies and it works wonders for me.

It’s recommended to wait until 2nd trimester for zofran (super duper small risk of birth defects in first trimester) b6 and unisom was somewhat helpful. I ended up getting a fairly high b6 pill. Gummies taste gross and are annoying to take. Acupuncture bands were also a bit helpful. Eventually was prescribed two different prescriptions but didn’t really touch nausea. Now I’m 26 weeks and I still have nausea after every meal 🙃 but I just let it ride at this point as I’ve gotten used to the discomfort

Worked great for me!

Try ginger, organic ginger tea and using it in your food

It worked but depends on what level of nausea ur having too
I'm allergic to ginger unfortunately! I get that suggestion all the time since I have stomach issues outside of pregnancy too
I'm going to try the b6 and Unisom combo but it's hard because ive already been sleeping so heavily and I don't want to sleep through my first kid waking up 😭 unisom (taken alone for sleep) last pregnancy knocked me OUT. My nausea is 20x worse this time around and it's just too much to handle.
Update: I took the unisom, slept for 2 hours, then woke up super nauseous and haven't been able to fall back to sleep 😭 I've also been absolutely fighting for my life every time I have to change a diaper. I simply must get my Zofran back. I'll give it the weekend but Monday I'm calling my OB and will be having fightin words. I've never had worse nausea in my entire life.
